19th Annual International Ocean Film Festival (April 7-10, 2022)

Updated: Apr 18, 2022

The mission of the International Ocean Film Festival (IOFF) is to create a global platform for ocean literacy and education through independent film. Since its inception in 2004, each year they feature an engaging four-day event designed specifically with audiences in mind from all around the world!

The IOFF is dedicated to inspiring audiences of all ages with powerful, creative visual storytelling that empowers them as they become better ocean stewards. They present films and post-screening discussions featuring film directors for year-round engagement so people can take action in their everyday lives!

This year's festival will take place in San Francisco, California and will offer a virtual screening all-access option. They will present 50+ independent ocean films from around the world in addition to our exciting filmmaker and expert Q&A sessions. In addition, we have 10 themed programs ranging on topics such as Shark Conservation or Female Filmmakers where you can learn more about these amazing women who make up part of this community!

For more information on this year's film program see 2022 IOFF.
